Set up a virtual aquarium

When I discovered Fish I thought it was one of those typical aquarium screensavers. However, after taking a closer look at it and testing it out, I quickly realized it was much more elaborate. Fish fanatics should quickly take a liking to this original simulator. Essentially, you get to recreate and manage an aquarium, all in 3D graphics. I quite liked how you can create and customize the shape and colors of fish, feed them and see them grow. Once you release them in the aquarium you'll also notice they have random movements. The application also lets you set up multiple cameras to monitor the aquarium from different angles.

Despite a slight wireframe feel to the graphics, the movements of plants and fish felt really smooth and 3D graphics looked nice. This application makes for an original simulation, giving you complete control over a whole micro-environment. If you're wondering whether or not to get an aquarium, why not installing this app beforehand, to see if you'd enjoy it?

Fish is an aquarium simulator. It allows you to add fish to an underwater environment and customize them. Fish show complex behavior. You can feed them, see their evolution as they grow, use different cameras to track them, and save different aquariums for later use. Fish can also be shared with others over the local network using Rendezvous.

Don't worry about your fish; they are saved when you leave the application... The save function is only intended to be able to save multiple aquariums.
